MY GOODNESS - Will benefit everyone

What do we really want for our children?

The love of a family, a safe environment in which to live and learn, living with little anxiety and a genuine sense of purpose, self-confidence and courage, and healthy self-esteem. This list could go on and on.

We have so many dreams and aspirations for our kids, and we share them with our students. Above all, we hope that they become good people—individuals who comprehend that they have a role to play in improving the lot of those less fortunate, that they can influence what happens with the environment, and that we collectively make a lasting, positive impact on our own lives and those of others.

This third in our new ad campaign series addresses this head-on with an acknowledgement that a student’s goodness will benefit everyone.

Our purpose at Walden International School is to help every child discover their significance as a human, beyond offering our children a superior academic and IB programme.

“A good head and good heart are always a formidable combination. But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen, then you have something very special.” — Nelson Mandela

Walking through the doorway to our school, you enter an environment dedicated to making good people.

You might well ask what we mean by making good people.

It means creating an environment and programmes built on a firm belief in our shared humanity while teaching children that the world is about much more than achieving high marks and standardized goals.

It means recognizing each child as an individual with their own needs, interests, talents and abilities and showing them how kindness, respect and presence are central to a meaningful, purposeful life.

It means giving real substance and commitment to witnessing that out of goodness arises greatness.
